The lovely little touches, like the wine, welshcakes, and especially the milk after a long journey, made us feel right at home. The property was so well laid out and clean, with a super comfy bed and a well-stocked kitchen. We loved the table and chairs overlooking the allotments for morning sunshine, and the mezzanine seating for evening relaxation and stargazing was jaw-dropping. The location on the edge of country fields was perfect, allowing us to appreciate all that the area offered for cycling, fishing, and even golf. The proximity to a beautiful beach was also a bonus. The owners truly went above and beyond, leaving generous settling in gifts that made our stay even more special. And as an added bonus, the wi-fi was excellent! We also appreciated the off-site car park and the fact that no pets were allowed and no smoking was permitted on-site. our stay at The Old Stables was nothing short of amazing!

It was delightful to have a peaceful garden to enjoy, and the seating area on the mezzanine provided a perfect spot for relaxation and stargazing in the evenings.

If I were to suggest one improvement for a better vacation for senior people, it would be to have slightly lighter-weight quilts available for hot weather. Though it didn't hinder my overall experience, a lighter quilt would have been ideal during the particularly warm days.
