The Old Stables provided a mind-blowingly comfortable and convenient stay. The lovely little touches, like the wine, welshcakes, and especially the milk after a long journey, made us feel right at home. The property was so well laid out and clean, with a super comfy bed and a well-stocked kitchen. We loved the table and chairs overlooking the allotments for morning sunshine, and the mezzanine seating for evening relaxation and stargazing was jaw-dropping. The location on the edge of country fields was perfect, allowing us to appreciate all that the area offered for cycling, fishing, and even golf. The proximity to a beautiful beach was also a bonus. The owners truly went above and beyond, leaving generous settling in gifts that made our stay even more special. And as an added bonus, the wi-fi was excellent! We also appreciated the off-site car park and the fact that no pets were allowed and no smoking was permitted on-site. our stay at The Old Stables was nothing short of amazing!

The decoration was tasteful and homely, making me feel right at ease. The general areas were well-maintained and accessible for senior people like myself, with wide hallways and staircases that were easy to navigate. It was delightful to have a peaceful garden to enjoy, and the seating area on the mezzanine provided a perfect spot for relaxation and stargazing in the evenings.
If I were to suggest one improvement for a better vacation for senior people, it would be to have slightly lighter-weight quilts available for hot weather. Though it didn't hinder my overall experience, a lighter quilt would have been ideal during the particularly warm days.

I absolutely loved the cozy and charming decor of the cottage. The soft furnishings and tasteful artwork created such a warm and inviting atmosphere. The common areas were well-maintained and easily accessible for someone like me, a senior woman. The hotel's thoughtfulness in ensuring a comfortable stay for older guests was truly appreciated.
I would have preferred if the staff had been more attentive to the needs of senior guests. A little more assistance and consideration in terms of ensuring a seamless and enjoyable vacation experience for older individuals would have been wonderful.

We had a wonderful and convenient 3-night stay at The Old Stables. The property was well laid out and clean, and the bed was super comfortable. We especially enjoyed the early morning sunshine on the back patio overlooking the allotments and the evening relaxation in the mezzanine seating area for star gazing. The location, just off the Main Street, allowed us to appreciate the beauty of the surrounding country fields. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, and the generous settling in gifts from the property owners were a nice touch. I highly recommend this villa for a comfortable and convenient stay.

We were able to surf the web and keep up with all the latest gossip, thanks to their awesome internet connection. And let me tell you, the location was totally on fleek! We got to explore the epic beaches and even hit up the trendy nightlife scene. It was epic!
The only thing we wished for was a sick sound system in the crib. We wanted to throw some major parties and blast our favorite tunes all night long.

The accommodation was conveniently located near the Main Street, providing easy access to all that the area has to offer. The property was well laid out and clean, with a comfortable and firm bed that ensured a restful sleep. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, making it easy to prepare meals. Additionally, the mezzanine seating area provided a relaxing space for star gazing in the evening.
The cooker thermostat light was a bit unreliable and could be a minor inconvenience.

The Old Stables in Fishguard had a charming vibe that instantly made me feel relaxed and at home. The room was cozy and had a rustic charm that I adored. As a vegetarian, I appreciated the kitchenette that allowed me to prepare my own meals.
Personally, I found the bathroom setup a bit inconvenient. Having two bathrooms, one with a bath or shower and the other with just a shower, made my morning routine a tad confusing.

The room at The Old Stables was cozy and comfortable, with a charming rustic feel that made me feel right at home. The bathroom with the bath or shower was a pleasant surprise, offering a relaxing soak after a long day of exploring. As a traveler who enjoys a touch of nostalgia, this room was a perfect fit for me.
Personally, I didn't fancy the bathroom with just a shower. But hey, that's just me.

The Old Stables was a charming cottage, perfect for a senior woman like myself. The decor was lovely, with a cozy and traditional feel that made me feel right at home. The general areas of the cottage were well-maintained and clean, creating a pleasant environment for relaxation. As a senior, I appreciated the accessibility of the cottage, with everything conveniently located on one level and no stairs to navigate. It made my stay comfortable and hassle-free.
The only thing I would ask for to make the vacation even better for senior people would be a lightweight quilt for the hot weather we had. It would have been a nice touch to have a lighter bedding option available.

I had a fantastic stay at the Old Stables Villa in Fishguard. the property was well-maintained and had a clean, comfortable atmosphere. the bed provided was super comfortable, just the way I like it - firm and perfect for a good night's sleep. the kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and everything I needed to prepare meals. Although there wasn't much outdoor space, I loved the table and chairs at the back that overlooked the allotments. It was a perfect spot to enjoy the early morning sunshine. In the evening, I found the mezzanine seating area to be a great place to relax and gaze at the stars. the location of the villa, on the edge of the country fields and just set back from the Main Street, was ideal. I got to truly appreciate everything that the area of Fishguard has to offer, which I hadn't fully realized on previous trips. Lastly, the property owners were incredibly thoughtful, leaving generous settling in 'gifts' that were greatly appreciated. Cons: Nothing everything was great! 😊.
